HMS staff designed and implemented an evaluation of a national initiative to identify innovative, community-based health improvement programs which provided primary care and mental health services to culturally diverse and underserved populations. The formative evaluation was designed to uncover the strengths and challenges of the Initiative for program improvements. A case study design was employed to assess these factors as experienced by one Model and its replicants/adaptors.

HMS staff has experience:

Analyzing public health data studies, health services research

Conducting site visits to identify and confirm best practice programs

Developing community assessments and other evaluation tools for government agencies, private corporations and national organizations

Synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to guide research, policy development and practice use

Utilizing geographic information systems (GIS) software as a tool to integrate, aggregate and analyze and display data to support client decision making
